Rain falls into Desert

A POEM 🏜

I am still stumbling barefoot

on this hot- baking desert

Clouds of dust conquers everywhere

I am starving for a tiny raindrop

Sky, don’t you feel pity for this barren, bleak land?

Are you enjoying with this dusty dryness?

Loose your raindrops to embrace this dusty world

wind murmurs with a weary sigh

I am wondered, I spy a little puddle

with sparkling crystals of water

I bounce into it

to bury my weary foots under chilly water

It’s the deceitful mirage

I heard, the barren land takes a long breath

when the storm lightning flashes,

dust starts to kick up

tiny raindrops start embracing the sunbaked ground

I am still enjoying the sweetest smell

of every raindrop.
